It was a fabulous evening on May 1 as the UGES Choir performed their final concert of the year at the Union Grove High School Performance Center. The 5th grade choir began the evening with three songs: “Into the Unknown” (soloists: Maggie S., Olivia B., Stella C., Lucy C., Emmaline S.), “When You Believe” (small group singers: Adelaide L., Corlyn T., Haddie H., Josephine M.) and “We Know the Way.”
Sixth grade followed with a medley from the “Lion King” featuring small group singers (Jacob E., Mason S., Finley P., Benitzio B., Jax E., Julius M., Peyton J., Lillie V., Layla H., and soloists Finley P. and Declan V.)
The evening continued with the 7th/8th grade choir performing a medley entitled “Disney Dazzle” which was highlighted by a number of soloists (Piper L., Benjamin T., Abbigail B., Leana V., Kaleigh T., Leah S., Autumn C., Addyson B., Kennedy M., Andi B., Lyla K., Aubrey B., Gabriella L., Brooke K., Cory J., Jayden G., and Olivia B.)
The grand finale was outstanding with all of the choirs joining together to sing “Go the Distance” (small group singers: Ryleigh E., Andi B., Kennedy M., Leana V., Abbigail B., and Leah S.)
A special “thank you” goes out to Ms. Bauer and all of the choir students for working so hard to put together a wonderful performance. Also to Mr. Kroes who was the accompanist for the evening, and finally to all of the parents and families for encouraging and supporting their children in their musical endeavors.
