The Food Drive Challenge
November 1st-20th
A FUN competition between grades: 4k-4th and 5th-8th
Mr. Sams just waiting to see which 3 students will be chosen to shave his head!
HOW THE FOOD DRIVE WORKS: Students/Families who are willing/able are asked to donate non-perishable food items. Food items can be dropped off by the main entryway (front office). There will be 2 barrels labeled 4K-4th grades and 5th-8th Grades. All food that is collected will be donated to the Union Grove Food Bank and the Ground Zero Food Pantry in Union Grove for Veterans.
GRAND PRIZE: Three students will be chosen at random from 4K-4th or 5th-8th grades (whichever group brings in the highest total of individual food items) to shave Mr. Sams head at an all school assembly on Tuesday, November 21 at 7:50 a.m. Look for pictures on the UGES Website, Facebook, and the UGES App after the event to see the fantastic results.
