Mrs. Werth has been planning a lot of fun and educational opportunities for our students this year in the Makerspace Room. The Makerspace Room has been so high in demand since the beginning of the year that many of the supplies are quickly depleting. UGES families, if you have any of the following items, please drop them off the in the main office so we can restock for some more great programs that are planned for the future.
Take-A-Part Items: CD/tape players, alarm clocks, keyboards, old tech toys, car radios, old stereos. Please do not send TV's, computers or devices that are put together with RIVETS.
In February our Makerspace theme will be "Show love to broken toys by giving them a new purpose." Broken toys may include: Battery controlled cars, action figures, dolls, etc. (Please do not send any weapon themed toys).
Makerspace has also added a HOT GLUE STATION and we are looking for donations of small trinkets (See picture below for examples of trinkets). In this station, the student can make a 6-8 inch structure. It has been fun seeing students handle themselves responsibly and be creative with random items!
Thank you for considering making a donation to our Makerspace Program!
We appreciate your support!
