It's been an amazing year for Union Grove Elementary School athletics. The boys volleyball team saved the best for last! On March 21 they were crowned "Conference Champions" as they defeated Wheatland in the semi-finals of the conference championship tournament and eventually went on to play Trevor-Wilmot in the championship game to come away with yet another victory. After the game, Coach Cleven stated, "Congratulations to the UGES boys' volleyball team on an undefeated season, Division Champions, and winning the Conference Championship! Thank you for a great season. I am beyond proud of every single player!"
Congratulations also goes out to the UGES girls volleyball team. After a strong effort in the semi-final match against Brookwood, they came back even stronger in the consolation match as they ended up defeating Wheatland to place 3rd in the conference championship tournament! Great job girls! What an amazing season!
