On Friday, April 12, students from the Union Grove High School FFA (Future Farmers of America) Chapter put together an amazing agricultural literacy assembly for UGES kindergarten-8th grade students and staff members. The energy level was at an all time high in the small gym as they participated in a number of farm related activities and contests including hay bale throwing, drinking milk from a baby bottle, a cream puff eating contest, a pig (beach ball) walking contest, dressing up like a farmer race, a pig squealing contest and pedal tractor races.
A special thank you to all of the students from Union Grove High School FFA who helped make this event so much fun for our students. It was a great way to end another phenomenal week at UGES!
