On May 14, the UGES Track Team traveled to Westosha Central High School for the final track meet of the season. It was a very cool, windy, and damp evening but that didn't stop the boys and girls teams from putting forth their best effort at the conference finals. In the end, the boys team were crowned conference champions and the girls team placed 2nd! There were so many exciting individual and team accomplishments during the meet, but two in particular worth mentioning were the 4x100 boys relay team of Colt D., Eli K., Tyler J., and Nathan T. who broke a school record with a time of 50.29 seconds and Tyler J. who also broke the school record in the high jump with a 5'8 jump! Amazing!
A special thank you to Coach Kuper, Coach Santarelli and Coach Topercer for all of their work during practices and helping the athletes prepare for each of their events throughout the season! Congratulations to all of our awesome UGES student track athletes on a stellar season!
