We are looking for someone to join the UGES Family!

Join us for UGES Choir Night at Culver's on Monday, December 11 from Noon-10:00 p.m. after the 5th-8th Grade Choir Concert ONLY AT Hwy 20 and I-94 (722 S. Sylvania Avenue). Just mention that you are supporting the UGES choir when placing your order and the choir will receive a portion of the proceeds. Thank you for supporting the UGES Choir!

The UGES 5th-8th Grade Choir Concert will be taking place on Monday, December 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Union Grove High School Performance Center. Doors will be open starting at 5:45 p.m. We look forward to seeing families for a great evening of festivities!

Boys Basketball (A & B Teams Only - 7th/8th Grade) Tryouts are Tonight and Monday, December 11 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Students are expected to be at tryouts both days. Those students who signed up for the C Team (6th Grade) will have their first practice on Tuesday, December 12 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in the small gym. Good Luck Boys!

Cheer Pre-Tryouts for the Boys Basketball Season are TONIGHT FROM 3:00-4:30 P.M. Those students participating in Cheer MUST pick up a permission slip/information packet in the front office and return it signed at the pre-tryout practice on Friday, Dec. 8. Tryouts will be on Monday, December 11.

It looks like our 7th graders were having a little fun with Mr. Sams, our Assistant Principal. They've included him as part of the holiday door decorating contest. Great job 7th grade!

Good luck to our Girls Basketball A-Team as they play in their final game of the season TONIGHT beginning at 4:00 p.m. vs. Randall! This is a playoff game that will take place at Yorkville Elementary School. GO PONIES!

The Student Council Holiday Door Decorating Contest is in full-force. Here are Ms. Kieffer (Kindergarten), Ms. Knab (1st Grade), and Ms. Nelson's (4K) classes taking pictures next to their finished doors. Great job students!

Mrs. Gerou's 4th grade class also participated in the Straw Boat STEM Challenge. Lots of great learning opportunities are happening for our students in the classrooms.

4th graders in Mrs. Orcutt’s science class participated in a straw boat challenge this week! Their boat had to hold 25 pennies without sinking!! It sure looks like they were having a great time learning.

6th-7th-8th Grade Cheer Signup for Boys Basketball Season is happening now! There is still time for students to sign up today and tomorrow. Sign up sheet is located outside the large gym on the bulletin boards by the locker rooms. Pre- Tryouts will take place on Friday, December 8 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Tryouts will be on Monday, December 11. The UGES Winter Concert Season is Here! We are looking forward to having UGES Families join us tomorrow, Wednesday, December 6th for the Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Holiday Concert. Doors will open at 1:00 p.m. for the afternoon performance which begins at 1:30 p.m. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. for the evening performance which begins at 6:30 p.m. (Please enter through the doors in the front of the school by the Main Office). Students who will be performing should wear their favorite holiday outfit. For the evening performance, students should stay seated with their parents in the gym and report to their individual classroom no earlier than 6:10 p.m. The students are very excited to perform their music for everyone. We are looking forward to having UGES Families join us for a day filled with holiday music!
